Shamira is the owner/director at For The Love Of Dance Studios, a proud local and lover of all things art. With a late start, she has worked tirelessly to attain her goal of becoming a professionally trained Dancer, instructor, and performer. As years progressed into her professional career, she realized that the dance world needed a shift and an overall change in experience for young movers and aspiring performers. Thus, beginning her entrepreneurial journey and paving a new road for locals when it comes to dance studio options.  Giving movers new experiences to pen onto their resumes with not only dance experience, but film and acting also. In addition, Shamira is the founder and executive director of her own 501c3 non-profit dance organization that dances to support a different cause annually. Causes include but are not limited to domestic violence awareness, and breast cancer awareness in partnership with OLOL Mary bird Perkins cancer center. More of her pervious work  includes teaching for the Celerity Schools program based out of Los Angeles, California, producing a production entitled REMISSION in partnership with OLOL Marybird Perkins Cancer Center, dance in residences, most recently at the Glendale Collage of Phoenix, AZ, Commercial work for the annual Essence Festival in New Orleans, back up dancing behind celebrities like Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Tisha Martin Campbell... She has an unquenchable desire to give back to the community all through the beauty of dance. Further becoming Bungee Dance Certified in Philadelphia,PA.
